City of Chesapeake, April 2014 – Present
  • Coordinate with department personnel to determine website requests and needs
  • Work with City departments and agencies to develop new web content. Assist departments in creating new web pages of various types
  • Write articles for website, including identifying topics, researching with departments, writing article
  • Design web pages and websites within established architecture, guidelines and templates
  • Provide consultation and guidance to content developers to ensure compliance with system architecture, web best practices, City branding, and technical requirements
  • Manage web content, including proofreading, editing, updating and maintenance. Monitor existing content to ensure accuracy and relevance
